50 Years of Automotive Excellence Associate Jobbers Warehouse began in 1955 as a small buying group in Guntersville, Alabama. As the business grew and the need for more space arose, the business was relocated to Attalla, Alabama. In 1978, the present building was constructed in the Industrial Park at Boaz, Alabama. In 1985, the building was expanded by approximately one third. In 1990, the office was expanded and a second shift was added. In 1994, the building was again expanded approximately one third. In 2005 we celebrated our 50th year in business. AJW is a rapidly growing, progressive business which serves Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Mississippi. The Best Warehouse In the South AJW employs approximately 80 people, who pull and fill orders with the aid of a conveyor system spanning the warehouse areas, upstairs as well as downstairs. The conveyor carries parts to the packing and loading area. Recently the conveyor system was extended and an accordion section was added to carry boxed orders directly into waiting trucks. AJW is proud to be an Alabama Corporation and has served the Southeast for over 50 years, offering its customers a full line inventory as well as a direct ship program. The direct ship program allows merchandise to be shipped directly to customers, reducing delivery time and yet maintaining warehouse billing. AJW operates as a cost plus network that allows its jobbers an extremely favorable advantage over the competition. AJW has a history of providing its jobbers with broader coverage, higher quality products, and more equitable pricing than any other warehouse. An AJW jobber could save as much as $100,000 per year.
