Instructions for downloading TCA price updates:

The following are for Mindquest Partsmanager subscribers only. These
are the same price update files April emails you each month.

You only have to follow steps 1-3 the 1st time you download
prices from our website, every month after that you can just skip ahead to
step 4 for instructions
.

1. Click on the My Computer icon on your desktop:

 

2. Find the Local Disk C Drive and open it.

 

3. You will see a list of files and folders. Make a new folder by placing your cursor on
any blank area (white space between the folders) and right clicking then choose "New"
then choose folder.

 

Name this folder PriceUpdates. If you already have a folder with
the name PriceUpdates name the new folder something else, i.e. PriceUpdates2.

Now you are ready to download the prices from our website to the folder
you just created.

4. Click each of the TCA file links listed, for each one go to the top of your screen and click file, save as,
click "My Computer" and then click the C: drive and then click the PriceUpdates folder you just made and save each TCA file. When you have saved all 8 files you are ready to import them into your system using the Vendor Pricing Utility.

5. Open the Vendor Pricing Utility, Click "yes" or "run" if you get a message when you open the Vendor Pricing Utility. Once the Pricing Utility is open make sure "Fixed Pricing Import" is highlighted in the first column, in the 2nd column under "Get Data From" make sure the C: drive is selected and look for the folder you made named "Price Updates", double click this folder and you will see the TCA files 1-8 listed in the box below it, double click each of these files to move them to the 3rd column, when finished you should have all the TCA files 1-8 in the 3rd column, as shown.

Click confirm to begin importing the new prices. When the import is complete go to CAMRA and restart the Price Loading engine as you have always done. The new prices are now in your system.
